By the end of winter, I’m really looking forward to seeing the new blossoms and spots of color!

In the winter, if there’s a forecast for gale force winds, I might try to go to a location where I think the waves will be larger…

I’ve always had an appreciation for nature. As a young child, my father taught me about growing flowers, and he always planted a vegetable garden. I loved watching the flowers and vegetables grow. He was an avid fisherman, and many nights we’d dine on his ‘catch of the day’!

Having grown up on Cape Cod, where we’re essentially surrounded by water, I’ve always been drawn to the ocean. I love its many moods. Part of the excitement of seascape photography is not ever being certain of the conditions you’ll be presented with.

I feel very fortunate to have been born and raised here on Cape Cod. My childhood was simple and uncomplicated. I grew up playing fort in the woods next to my house, collecting seashells at the beach, and going for walks with my friends.
