What is Personal Brand Photography?
Personal brand photography is a wonderful way to visually share your story and create a connection with your target audience.
These photos will showcase YOU, and could include: you in action, you creating, you leading your team, making a sale, before work routine, day off routine, hobby, with pet, at favorite coffee shop, etc….We’ll decide on a custom photo list, depending upon your specific needs. (what your ideal customer/client would need to see in order to feel more confidence in buying from/or working with you.)
Possible other photos could be: your workspace, tools of the trade, team members, lifestyle headshots (not the formal kind), your products, services, marketing materials, etc…
The goal is to represent your business, your personality and how YOU do things differently.
Why is Personal Brand Photography Important for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners?
It’ll give your business an advantage over your competitors!
First of all, it helps your business to make a great first impression online. High quality professional images can affect how your brand is perceived by your audience. Your images will stand out and capture attention, over stock images which have zero personality and don’t give your potential customers any reason to connect with you and your business.
Personal brand photos build trust, because they’re authentic. By sharing your personality and humanizing your business, you’re making your brand more relatable to your potential customers and clients.
Do I Have to Know How to Pose?
Absolutely not! We aren’t doing a model shoot:).
We’re helping your customers get to know YOU and your business in the most relatable, real way.
I’ll talk you through (and demonstrate) some natural looking positions that you probably do in your real life. (We can play music too, if that’d help make it more fun for you!)
Also, I’ll create an inspiration board (and you can too) of possible poses we like and that you’d feel comfortable using.
How Do I Prepare for a Brand Photoshoot?
Once the contract is signed and a deposit is made, I’ll send along a Welcome Planning Guide and questionnaire.
The guide includes information on choosing a location, outfit and prop choices.
The questionnaire helps to clarify your brand and needs of your ideal client.
*We can also hop back on a phone call to fine tune your outfits and locations, etc…
Once we have a plan in place, I’ll create a custom Branding Shoot Plan based on the answers to your questionnaire, our phone conversations, and vision board.
I’ll bring the plan on the day of the photoshoot to use as a guide and keep us on track.
How Much of an Investment is a Personal Brand Photoshoot?
Every photographer you meet will have a different style of pricing, different packages, and different items included in their offerings! I know that’s not helpful…
My current 60 minute session is $350.00. You’ll receive more detailed information when you set up a discovery call.
